Our Teachers

Meet our teaching artists, a diverse group of experienced ceramic practitioners dedicated to sharing their skills, creativity and passion for clay
Rasma Kradzins
Rasma has a degree in Fine Art, having completed five years of full-time study at the National Art School, Sydney in 1978, where she developed a strong passion for clay. She also attended the Ivan Englund Pottery School workshop during this time and has since undertaken numerous ceramic courses and workshops.
A current member and teacher at CCPSI, Rasma has her own kiln and extensive experience in glazing, packing, and firing ceramic pieces.  She is committed to fostering a supportive studio environment and aims to help students develop their ceramic knowledge, skills, and confidence through safe, respectful, and creative practice.
Rachel Bunney
Rachel has been teaching figurative sculpture at CCPS for six years and is an established artist working across studio practice, exhibitions, and community arts.
Her work explores environmental themes, using stylised forms and poetic expression with a focus on endangered fauna. She has held solo exhibitions at Gallery ONE88 in Katoomba and contributes regularly to Central Coast art events.
Rachel also runs eco-art workshops for children and has developed strong expertise in BRT clay, using it to create sculptural work for both indoor and outdoor settings.
Lynn Treers
Lynn has had a lifelong interest in working with clay, beginning in childhood and continuing through formal study in 1968 at the NSW Potters Society in Woolloomooloo. She later studied at TAFE after relocating to Inverell and began teaching pottery to beginners and children.  She moved to Gosford in 1982 and joined CCPS in 1983, where she has remained deeply involved, teaching both adults and children. In 2008, she was awarded Life Membership for her contribution.
Lynn continues to extend her practice through ongoing workshops and study, including Greg Daly, Paul Davis, Cameron Williams, and Hornsby TAFE qualifications.
Annette Heidrich
Annette’s ceramics journey began over 26 years ago in the United States, building on early experience in school ceramics and informal learning from family potters. She now works from her home studio with kiln and wheel, exploring both hand-building and throwing.  Ceramics has remained a lifelong creative focus alongside her career, and she now brings this experience into teaching with confidence and enthusiasm.
Annette has been an active CCPS member for 15 years and values ongoing learning through workshops and community practice.  She has studied across the USA and Hornsby TAFE, and has undertaken workshops with a wide range of leading ceramic artists, continually developing her skills and practice.
